Municipal revenue from the permits for the city amounted to $49,070 in September, up from $47,477 collected in the same month in 2023.
Three permits were issued in September for new residential construction project valued at $1.18 million while 23 new permits were issued for other residential projects valued at $1.81 million.
Residential permits in total resulted in slightly more than $23,000 in revenues for the city for July.
In the other commercial category, Belleville issued 10 new permits to developers for a project valued at $1.6 which resulted in $12,919 in permit revenues.
One government institutional permit was issued for a construction value of $244,000 million worth $12,522 in permit revenues.
There was one miscellaneous project worth $3,200 in construction value that resulted in $100 in permit fees.
Year-to-date permit statistics, meanwhile, show the city has issued 419 building permits in total from January to September with an estimated $79.3 million in construction value.
Those projects in total have yielded $666,861 in building permit fees.
Building permits issued this year for residential recorded 129 units, including 40 apartments, 30 row houses, eight row house condos and 51 new single detached homes.
